1. Role & Responsibilities
The "What": The core pillars of the role.
- Capability-Based TNA: Conduct deep-dive Training Need Analysis by mapping current skill levels against future business requirements to identify critical capability gaps.
- Architecting Learning Journeys: Design structured, multi-modal learning paths that move beyond one-off workshops to ensure long-term behavioural change and skill mastery.
- IDP Governance: Partner with PBPs to facilitate Individual Development Plans (IDPs), ensuring that personal growth goals are aligned with organisational succession planning.
- Strategic OD Support: Act as a key contributor to wider Organizational Development (OD) interventions, such as culture building, change management, and team effectiveness workshops.
- Vendor & Partner Ecosystem: Lead the identification and evaluation of learning partners and vendors, ensuring high-quality delivery and cost-effective external expertise.
- LMS Ecosystem Management: Oversee the end-to-end LMS administration, ensuring the platform is intuitive, data-rich, and serves as a "single source of truth" for learning records.
2. Skills
The "How": Technical and functional competencies.
- Diagnostic Skills: Mastery in TNA methodologies to distinguish between "wants" and true "business needs."
- Vendor Management: Ability to negotiate SLAs, evaluate pedagogical quality, and manage external partnerships effectively.
- Systems Thinking: A strong grasp of LMS administration and how HR tech integrations (e.g., performance management to IDPs) drive employee experience.
- Consultative OD Mindset: Basic knowledge of OD frameworks (like Burke-Litwin or Nadler-Tushman) to support large-scale organisational shifts.

- Platform Mastery: Previous experience in LMS administration and implementing digital learning solutions.
- OD Exposure: Prior experience supporting OD interventions or organisational change projects is a significant advantage.
