Job Description: Lead DevOps

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead DevOps professional to oversee the design, implementation, and management of scalable infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. This role involves leading DevOps initiatives, mentoring team members, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient and secure software delivery processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and implementation of CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks.
• Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) and ensure high availability, scalability, and security.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and IT teams to streamline deployment and operations.
• Monitor system performance and proactively address issues and bottlenecks.
• Implement infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Ensure compliance with security and governance standards.
• Mentor junior DevOps engineers and promote best practices across teams.
• Drive continuous improvement in deployment processes, tooling, and system reliability.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in DevOps, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Strong expertise in CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python, PowerShell).
• Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Deep understanding of cloud platforms and services (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
• Knowledge of security best practices and compliance frameworks.
• Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, CKA, Azure DevOps Expert).
