What you’ll do at Ather: 

As a EVT Testing Lead you will be an integral part of the Product Validation Team where you will play a key role in validating core electrical modules of EV at whitebox level and be responsible for ensuring a high quality of products delivery through the introduction of robust testing methodologies and test automation.

• Responsible for delivery of component and system levels white box testing results with the assistance of team members. 

• Lead the bring up and maintenance of innovative testing and automation infrastructure for (including but not limited to white box testing of production PCBAs, proof of concepts of electromechanical products, production box builds).)

• Architect and assist in designing of hardware test fixtures, within the constraints of cost and timeline. 

• Influence design team in Design for Testability and Design for Automated testing.

• Document and maintain the automation roadmap for the team, tying it directly with medium term and long term organizational objectives.

• Bring in innovative design and testing practices to improve performance and reduce development time and cost.

• Lead and drive reuse of platforms and testing resources to help reduce TTM, cost and enhance quality. Implement lessons learnt into testing methodologies.

• Collaborate with Design Engineering,Product,Program and NPD to review specifications, EVT/DVP plans and test reports

Here’s what we are looking for: 

• Expertise on engineering fundamentals for applications

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills

• Advanced test automation skills to provide direction and support as needed

• Deep knowledge of electrical and electronic systems, good knowledge of mechatronic systems, with substantial PCBA design experience.

• Experience with testing of PCBAs and electronic products.

• Ability to network inside and outside the organization for the development of the team

What You bring to Ather: 

• B.Tech/M.Tech in Electrical/Electronics  Engineering with emphasis on automation or design for automation.

• 8 - 13 years of experience in hands-on design and development of analog and digital electronic circuits and associated testing/test infrastructure.
