Your Role

1. You have Computer Science Engineering (B.E. or B.Tech. or M.Tech.) qualification from a reputed university
2. You have an exclusive experience of 5-8 years in automation testing using Python/Java
3. Experience with Web Application and REST API Testing
4. You have strong understanding of Software Development & Testing Life Cycle
5. Good knowledge and understanding of software testing principles, practices, processes, methods, techniques, and tools is a MUST
6. You are working in an Agile and DevOps environment
7. You have experience using Jenkins, GIT, BitBucket, Docker, JIRA, and Confluence
8. Good to have an experience working with Linux, KVM and open-source systems
9. Have an eye for details and ensure good documentation is prepared as part of delivery process
10. Strong interest towards Software Quality Assurance
11. ISTQB Foundational level certification is an added advantage
12. Basic understanding of deploying and managing applications using cloud platforms such as AWS and Microsoft Azure
13. Proficient in writing unit tests and integration tests using frameworks like Behave, JUnit , BDD testing , Maven
14. Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium/Playwright for web applications
15. Basic understanding of API testing using tools like Postman. This includes sending requests to APIs to simulate how a client interacts with a
16. server, inspecting responses for correctness, and validating the behaviour of the API endpoints

 
To succeed, you will need  

1. Mandatory skills:
   1. 5-8 years hands-on experience with Python/Advanced Python, Proficient in C++, Java and Java script
   2. Web application automation testing
   3. Knowledge of GIT
   4. Knowledge of testing methodologies like unit testing, functional testing, regression testing, etc.
2. Good to have skills:
   1. Knowledge of agile methodology
   2. Test framework development
   3. Knowledge of CICD and Jenkins
   4. Knowledge of JIRA and Confluence
3. Translate Gherkin/Cucumber feature files into executable automated tests
4. You have knowledge of Behavioral Driven Development (BDD) software development approach
5. Ensure the code is fully optimized following PEP8 standards
6. Follow solid design principles of OOPS and SDLC best practices
7. Actively participate and interact with various stakeholders
8. Take complete ownership of the deliverables with “First Time Right” approach
9. You are a real team player and like to learn from experts, peers, and colleagues
10. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
11. Self-organizing, self-managing and willingness to learn new things
