About the Role:

AtDatavalleywe are looking for a Lead Technical Mentor, a senior practitioner who can run our AI/ML training floor like a real engineering team. You will own the end-to-end technical readiness of each batch: from Python fundamentals to production-grade GenAI projects to interview preparation.

This is not a classroom teaching role. You will run daily standups, conduct code reviews, enforce Gitdisciplineandmentor freshers through real-world project delivery. Your success is measured by placement outcomes, not syllabus completion.

What You Will Do:

• Own the technical training and mentorship, ensuring each cohort is fully prepared from foundational Python to advanced GenAI projectsandsupporting students through code reviews, Git bestpracticesandinterview readiness.
• Design and deliver hands-on curriculum covering Python, ML/AI, Data Science, GenAIandCloud (GCP).
• Guide students through end-to-end project delivery: RAG chatbots, fraud detection, recommendation engines, sentiment analysis.
• Run the cohort like a real dev team: daily standups, sprint planning, JIRA, code reviews, Git hygiene.
• Ensure every student graduates with a GitHub portfolio of 3+ documented, production-grade projects.
• Collaborate with the placement team to ensure students are interview-ready and technically confident.
• Cover System Design / HLD basics for interview preparation.

Must Have:

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in Python, AI/MLorData Science.
• Production experience: you have built and deployed ML models or data pipelines in a real-world environment (not just Kaggle or academic projects).
• Strong in Python (OOP, clean code), SQL (advanced queries, database design)andML fundamentals (Scikit-Learn, regression, classification, model evaluation).
• Hands-on with Git,JIRAandAgile practices.
• Ability to simplify complex technical concepts-you are the person juniors come to for explanations.
• GenAI exposure: OpenAI/Gemini APIs,LangChain, RAG pipelinesorHugging Face.
• Cloud familiarity: GCP (Vertex AI preferred) or AWS (SageMaker).

Good to Have:

• Prior training,mentoringortech lead experience.
• Deep Learning fundamentals (TensorFlow /PyTorch).
• Data Analytics skills: Power BI,Tableauoradvanced visualisation.
• Experience with Docker, CI/CDpipelinesormodel deployment at scale.
