YatriKart is building the technology backbone for the fast-growing Retail on the Go ecosystem across India. We are looking for a Tech Lead / Technical Architect who can take ownership of our platform architecture and lead the next phase of scalable product development.

You will work directly with the founders to design and build a high-performance supply chain and retail technology platform powering hundreds of stores across transit locations.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving real-world operational problems with technology and building scalable systems from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

Own the overall system architecture for scalable and secure web applications

Lead backend and frontend development using MERN + TypeScript

Design scalable APIs and database architecture

Implement DevOps best practices including CI/CD and cloud deployment

Build systems that support high transaction volumes and multiple retail locations

Ensure strong code quality, performance optimization, and system reliability

Mentor and lead a team of full-stack engineers

Work closely with founders and business teams to align technology with business goals

Skills & Experience

810 years of experience in full-stack development

Strong expertise in MERN Stack (MongoDB, Express, React, Node.js)

Strong experience with TypeScript

Experience designing scalable backend systems and APIs

Experience with AWS cloud infrastructure

Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools (Docker, Terraform, Kubernetes)

Experience building production-grade platforms

Strong debugging, optimization, and system design skills

Ability to lead engineering teams and make architecture decisions
