Job Description
The Lead Talent Acquisition will lead the recruitment strategy for Adani Defence & Aerospace, driving hiring excellence across Defence Manufacturing, Aerospace, MRO, R&D, Engineering, Electronics, and Emerging Technologies. This role demands strong leadership, deep industry insights, and proven expertise in managing large-scale and niche hiring in critical defence and aerospace domains.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Leadership
- Define and lead the overall talent acquisition strategy for the Defence & Aerospace business.
- Partner with CXOs, Business Heads, and HR Leadership to shape workforce planning and talent architecture.
- Drive long-term capability building aligned with growth plans, new platforms, and technology programs.
2. Enterprise Hiring Delivery
- Oversee full-cycle recruitment for leadership, mid-senior, and niche technical roles (R&D, Avionics, Aero Structures, MRO, UAVs, EW, Missiles, Propulsion, etc.).
- Ensure fast, high-quality closures for mission-critical roles in engineering, production, supply chain, QA/QC, and program management.
- Build scalable hiring processes and assessment frameworks.
3. Team & Stakeholder Management
- Lead, mentor, and upskill a high-performing TA team across multiple locations.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders including Business Heads, COEs, and Plant HR.
- Ensure consistent delivery, proactive communication, and strong business alignment.
4. Market Intelligence & Talent Strategy
- Conduct ongoing market mapping across Defence PSUs, Defence Startups, MRO facilities, Aerospace OEMs, and Tier-1 suppliers.
- Track global and domestic hiring trends, compensation benchmarks, and emerging skills.
- Build a strong pipeline for future-ready defence technologies.
5. Employer Branding & Talent Outreach
- Strengthen Adani Defence & Aerospaces employer brand across digital platforms, academia, industry bodies, and defence talent communities.
- Drive marquee hiring events, campus hiring, Recruitment drive and veteran hiring programs.
6. Governance, Compliance & Data Excellence
- Ensure adherence to recruitment policies, audit standards, and statutory requirements.
- Own TA dashboards, MIS, hiring metrics, cost optimization, and SLA governance.
- Improve candidate experience through process excellence and technology adoption (ATS, AI sourcing tools, assessments, etc.).
Required Skills & Competencies
- 1018 years of experience in Talent Acquisition, with strong exposure to Defence, Aerospace, MRO, Aviation, or High-Tech Engineering sectors.
- Proven track record in leadership hiring, niche tech hiring, and large-scale capability building.
- Strong stakeholder management with experience partnering directly with CXOs and senior leadership.
- Deep knowledge of defence ecosystem, engineering roles, OEM suppliers, and talent availability.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, data analytics, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work in a rapidly scaling, high-technology environment.
Educational Qualification
- MBA/PGDM in Human Resources
- A technical or engineering background is a plus.
