Job title: Lead- Strategy Projects, Consumer Banking

BU/Function: Consumer Banking

Location : Gurugram

Reports to: Head Partnership Liabilities

Role Details: As a Lead Strategy Projects, you will be driving projects to scale the liability franchise of the bank. The individual will be leading the strategic planning and project management for key projects for Consumer Banking and coordinating closely with internal and external stakeholders to help deliver our key strategic business goals.

Overall Job Description:

Strategic Planning & Business Reporting-

• Ideate and create a strategic roadmap for growth of Consumer Banking deposit book
• Reporting the business performance to Executive reporting Committees including but not limited to CET, Board, Investors etc.
• Supporting the preparation of strategic business cases and presentation materials
• Suggesting improvements to existing business strategies to drive growth

Strategic Projects -

• Driving and overseeing the progress of multiple key strategic projects
• Conducting strategic research and developing an in-depth understanding of our business and external market forces
• Defining problems and strategic solutions - scoping, analyzing, preparing and presenting strategy decks
• Identifying issues, developing hypotheses and communicating insights and recommendations to key decision makers
• Stakeholder management: Building and nurturing strong advisory relationships with key senior stakeholders

Desired Behavioral / Functional Traits

• Demonstrated experience and knowledge of strategic problem solving and frameworks, and project management skills
• Ability to liaise with stakeholders and influence people of a diverse range of backgrounds
• Experience in applying strategic frameworks and tools for analyzing strategic problems and developing strategies
• Excellent written and verbal communication with the ability to establish credibility and strong relationships with senior stakeholders
• Strong performance across a broad range of strategic engagements
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities

EDUCATION

Preferred: MBA from Tier 1/Tier 2 college

WORK EXPERIENCE

Essential requirement: 4-8 years of post-MBA experience & prior experience in strategy in Banking/ Financial Services/ FinTech/ Consulting business
