Job Description

Project Governance & Policy Development:

  •   Establish and enforce standardized policies, frameworks, and procedures to ensure project consistency and compliance with industry best practices.
  •   Define governance structures, roles, and responsibilities for stakeholders to improve decision-making and accountability.

Stakeholder Coordination & Communication:

  •   Act as a central coordination point between design, engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure seamless project execution with minimal bottlenecks.
  •   Ensure all departments align with project objectives, proactively addressing interdependencies and resolving conflicts to maintain smooth progress.

Financial & Cost Management:

  •   Monitor project budgets, control costs, and ensure expenditure aligns with approved financial plans.
  •   Identify cost-saving opportunities through value engineering, contract negotiations, and efficient resource utilization.

Risk & Compliance Management:

  •   Implement risk assessment frameworks to proactively identify and mitigate project-related risks.
  •   Ensure compliance with aviation safety standards, environmental regulations, and contractual obligations.

Technology & Process Optimization:

  •   Leverage digital tools such as BIM, project management software, and analytics for data-driven decision-making.
  •   Develop continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety in construction projects.

Resource Allocation and Optimization:

  •   Work closely with project teams to assess manpower, equipment, and material requirements, ensuring resources are efficiently allocated across different project phases.
  • Continuously monitor resource utilization, adjusting allocations as needed to prevent shortages, reduce wastage, and optimize overall project efficiency.

Analytics and Timeline Adherence:

  •   Utilize data analytics tools to track project performance metrics, assess trends, and generate insights that support more effective decision-making.
  •   Ensure strict adherence to project timelines by analyzing progress data, identifying potential delays, and implementing corrective measures to keep projects on schedule.

Educational Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree (MBA or equivalent) in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related domain.
  • Specialized certifications like PMP (Project Management Professional), PRINCE2, or PGMP (Program Management Professional)

Work Experience:

  •     10+ years of experience in project management, construction, or infrastructure development, preferably in the aviation or transportation sector.
  •     At least 5-7 years in a leadership role, overseeing large-scale airport construction, expansion, or modernization projects.
  •     Proven track record in stakeholder management, financial planning, risk mitigation, and policy development within a PMO setup.
