Lead - Sourcing (BUS)

Responsibilities:

Steer and manage a dynamic team of S&SC professionals to deliver on Unit Strategy in line with intricacies of Bus Body Business. A highly competitive segment to work in wherein, S&SC will bring about vital profitability and sustainability to the Unit.

Establish a cost competitive value chain for the fully built buses

·       Set the cost reduction targets, supplier selection and signoff with  P & PCE for the final Purchase value of the product

·       Supplier agreement signoff, part’s cost monitoring and countermeasure to achieve cost reduction target

Service Level Assurance for meeting Annual and Monthly Production Plan:

·       Ensure On Time in Full (OTIF) material availability, target is 75% fulfilment per month as per production plan. Review with team, analyse reports, track stock availability at supplier end and warehouses.

·       Plan for Material and predict Fluctuations; communicate with suppliers

·       Internal stake-holder management; fulfilment of requirements

Alternate Sourcing

·       To de-risk single source components.To meet enhancement of capacity

Vendor Management

·       Monthly / Quarterly meeting with suppliers. Ensure timely communication and transparency in information sharing

·       Identify new suppliers and refer to sourcing. Capability building for existing vendors; Capacity, Product, Quality, AL standards.

ESG and Governance

·       Ensure minimal audit observations. Devise and implement risk mitigation strategies
