Lead Software Engineer

Your roles and responsibilities :

• Reviews independently system requirements and business processes; codes, tests, debugs; implements and maintains software solutions and is generally given more difficult technical challenges.
• Determines systems software design requirements.
• Develops security solutions for assignments increasing in complexity.
• Provides application software development services or technical support typically in a defined project.
• Modifies existing internal software products to add to new functions, adapt to new hardware, improve performance or enhance product usability.
• Ensures that system improvements are successfully implemented and monitored to increase efficiency and makes changes as required.
• Ensures that applications are compatible across multiple platforms and browsers.
  Uses deep technical knowledge to design, code, test and/or customize software solutions to meet or exceed client requirements, adding market/industry trends as necessary.

We expect you to have: (Minimum Qualifications)

• Minimum 12+ years of experience in Software Engineering role with focus on Core Java, object-oriented analysis, design and development skills, including test driven development (TDD).
• Development experience in Spring and Spring boot Framework core and advanced modules.
• Working knowledge of relational databases, including RDBMS setup (Oracle / Postgres).
• Query language abstraction such as SQL, HQL, XQuery.
• API Experience with JMX, JTA, JMS.
• Development experience on a multi-threaded, client-server application.
• Development Experience with Java persistence or ORM implementations, including SQL, JDBC, ORM solutions such as JPA, Hibernate.
• Experience working with different transport protocols such as JMS, RMI, SOAP, or REST
• Experience with software development tools such as Eclipse, intellij, git.
• Experience in Angular frontend development will be a plus.
• Experience working with Docker and Kubernetes, AWS/OCI will be a plus
• Unix and scripting experience highly desirable.
• Experience with build and Continuous integration tools like Jenkins with nexus and Gradle will be a plus.
• Degree qualified in Computer Science or related discipline, or equivalent work experience.  Post graduate degree in a related discipline.
