We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Software Engineer. In this role, you will lead efforts to deliver product features for Revenue story modules. You are also required to be hands-on.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of product features.
• Mentor and guide team members and strive for continuous improvement
• Establish and track key metrics to measure improvements in engineering efficiency.
• Develop features whenever needed as an individual contributor
• Analyze the tasks and come up with reasonable timelines to deliver features on time.
• Understand customer needs and ensure that solutions align with business objectives and deliver a delightful user experience

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in software development, with a proven track record of building and delivering scalable, high-quality software solutions with 2+ years as a lead.

Technical Skills :

• Backend: Hands-on experience in Core Java, MySQL/PostgreSQL, SQL, NoSQL and RESTful APIs.
• SQL : Hands-on experience in writing complex SQL queries and handling data pipelines and e xperience with SQL performance tuning and optimization , including query optimization and scalability considerations.
• Frontend: Hands-on experience in Javascript frameworks (React, Angular, Vue)
• Experience with microservices architecture and cloud platforms such as AWS.
• Experience with Agile methodologies, continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, and DevOps practices.
• Experience with query builder / Query engine is added advantage.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in leading and mentoring a team of developers
• Experience working in fast-paced, agile environments.
• Actively using AI for your work (Coding copilots, etc..)
