IX Professional Services – Lead Delivery Engineer - Java

Join a team of experts working with airlines to build solutions on top of the Intelligence Exchange Platform. Work with multiple airline business units to solve real problems and design and implement solutions that bring value rapidly.

Sabre Intelligence Exchange is a fast data platform enabling real-time event processing, real-time enrichment of data and real-time business actions. It is an agility platform enabling Airlines to significantly improve time-to-market and reduce application development cost.

We work with some of the biggest brands in the Airline Industry in various locations around the globe. Our Professional Services team is based in Reykjavík and Bangalore.

Job Description

• Design analyzers and applications running on top of the IX platform.
• Implement (in Java) analyzers and applications using the IX APIs.
• Consult customers and internal Sabre teams on best practices developing on top of IX platform.
• Train customer development teams on IX APIs and platform usage.
• Work in a team of highly motivated and experienced individuals.
• Use agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) to design and implement IX applications.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of Java development experience.
• Intimate knowledge of IDEs such as IntelliJ IDEA and/or Eclipse.
• Good knowledge of Java build environments and tools such as Maven and Nexus
