About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Staff Network Engineer to join our Infrastructure & Network Engineering team. This role is ideal for a hands-on technical leader who thrives on designing, building, and managing large-scale enterprise networks while collaborating closely with customers. The engineer will lead network as a service solutioning discussions, act as an L4 escalation expert, and ensure robust performance across data centers, cloud, and hybrid infrastructures.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Design and implement LAN/WAN, Data Center, and Hybrid Cloud Network Architectures.
- Work directly with customers for network solutioning, DR build, and hybrid DC design.
- Serve as L4 Escalation Engineer for complex network incidents.
- Deploy and manage Juniper and Fortinet firewalls, Juniper and Arista switches, and Ruckus/Juniper Mist wireless systems.
- Implement SSL VPNs, certificate-based authentication, and 802.1x authentication frameworks.
- Design and maintain BGP, OSPF, and multi-homing routing environments.
- Manage AWS Direct Connect and Azure ExpressRoute connectivity for hybrid networks.
- Automate infrastructure using Ansible and Terraform (Infrastructure-as-Code).
- Lead Zabbix deployments for observability and proactive monitoring.
Experience and qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (Masters preferred).
- 5-10 years of experience in enterprise network design and operations.
- Strong expertise in Juniper, Fortinet, and Arista network environments.
- Excellent understanding of network architecture, routing protocols, and security frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with Zabbix, Ansible, and Terraform.
- Strong communication and presentation skills customer-facing experience is mandatory.
- Preferred Certifications: JNCIP/JNCIE, CCNP/CCIE, NSE 6/7, AWS/Azure Network Specialty.
