Job Description
One of our MNC client is establishing a Center of Excellence (CoE) in India to support global analytics, Power BI development, and financial reporting requirements across the enterprise. This role will be a foundational member of the CoE, responsible for delivering high-quality Power BI solutions, standardizing reporting practices, and partnering closely with Finance, Revenue Operations, and Business stakeholders globally.
The ideal candidate combines strong Power BI technical expertise with hands-on financial and management reporting experience, and thrives in a global, matrixed environment.
Key Responsibilities
Power BI & Analytics Delivery
- Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports for Finance, Revenue Operations, and executive stakeholders
- Optimize performance, usability, and scalability of Power BI solutions
- Partner with data engineering and source-system owners to ensure reliable, accurate data pipelines
- Implement and enforce Power BI best practices, including governance, security, documentation, and version control
Financial & Management Reporting
- Deliver recurring financial, operational, and management reports (monthly, quarterly, ad hoc)
- Support reporting related to revenue, bookings, backlog, billing, AR, utilization, margins, and KPIs
- Translate financial and business requirements into clear, scalable reporting solutions
- Ensure alignment between system-generated dashboards and official financial results
- Support audit, compliance, and data validation requirements as needed
Center of Excellence (CoE) Enablement
- Help define and mature the Power BI & Reporting CoE operating model
- Establish reporting standards, templates, documentation, and development guidelines
- Act as a subject matter expert for Power BI and financial reporting within the CoE
- Mentor junior analysts and developers as the CoE scales
- Drive continuous improvement, automation, and simplification of reporting processes
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Partner with global Finance, Revenue Operations, IT, and Business teams
- Gather requirements, challenge assumptions, and recommend data-driven solutions
- Communicate insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Support leadership with actionable, decision-ready reporting and analysis
Required Qualifications
Technical Skills
- Min.8 years of experience in BI, analytics, or reporting roles
- Advanced expertise in Power BI (data modeling, Power Query, performance tuning)
- Strong SQL skills; experience working with data warehouses and large datasets
- Experience with financial reporting tools or ERP data (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Solid understanding of data governance, security, and access controls
Financial & Business Acumen
- Strong experience in financial, management, or operational reporting
- Understanding of core finance concepts (revenue, P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, KPIs)
- Experience supporting global or multi-entity organizations preferred
Soft Skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, global environment
- Comfortable influencing without authority in a matrixed organization
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience helping stand up or scale a Center of Excellence
- Background in Revenue Operations, FP&A, or Finance Transformation
- Experience with Azure, Fabric, or modern data platforms
- Exposure to Agile or product-based delivery models
