Job Purpose:

You will play a crucial role in shaping the basis and data fundamentals of Data Analytics and actively contribute to the success of the digital transformation at ZEISS. In this challenging function, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Embedded BI solutions as part of the data, Architecture & Integration team, specially focusing on helping our business units to analyze requirements for SAP S/4 Embedded BI Reporting functionality within a global and ambitious S/4 transformation program. Due to the diverse technologies currently in use, this is the perfect opportunity to bring and make usage of all your skills and experience, and in parallel learn the most recent SAP BI solutions in the market.

This an Individual Contributor (IC) role that will include
• Development of CDS views specially focused on Embedded BI and Analytics
• Activation and enhancement of standard BW extractors
• Embedded BI developments in S4
• Documentation as needed Roles & Responsibilities
• Development of CDS views specially focused on Embedded BI and Analytics
• Activation and enhancement of standard BW extractors
• Embedded BI developments in S4
• Support on the design and development of applications in SAP BW on HANA, SAP BW/4HANA, SAP Datasphere, SAC and SAP HANA Cloud
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in SAP BI Cloud solutions, and provide recommendations for new technologies and tools that can be leveraged to improve data integration and reporting.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for the applications created or enhanced.

Education & Work Experience:

• Any Technical or University Degree in computer science, software engineering or similar field
• SAP S4/HANA Embedded Analytics design, architecture and business requirements gathering experience.
• Development skills associated with implementation of CDS views is a must.
• Experience working on standard CDS view extensions
• Experience in SAP BI solutions such as SAP BW on HANA, BW4HANA and Datasphere (hands on)
• Skilled in Object Oriented concepts and their implementation in ABAP.

• Knowledge about SAC is a plus
• Knowledge of HANA SQL scripting is a plus
• Knowledge on SAP Best Practices with technical implementation experience and working in an Agile setup
• Strong technical and problem-solving skills
• Advanced English language skills
• Good communication with peers, technical teams, and business representatives.
