Lead Reservoir Engineer Clean Energy

Job Purpose:

Perform and lead reservoir simulation and field development studies, ensuring robust modelling and reliable forecasts. Experience in black oil and compositional simulation is expected.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct reservoir simulation studies using fit for purpose simulation models.
• Build, calibrate and validate dynamic reservoir models for performance forecasting.
• Perform advanced simulation studies including black oil, compositional, thermal, geomechanics coupled, production network coupled and others as per the requirement.
• Integrate geological, petrophysical, and production data to support development planning.
• Analyze reservoir performance and provide recommendations for optimization.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams including geology, drilling, production, and surface engineering.
• Prepare technical reports, simulation outputs, and presentations for project stakeholders.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelors/Masters degree in Petroleum Engineering, Reservoir Engineering, or related field.
• 8-12 years of experience in reservoir simulation and engineering.
• Experience in compositional, thermal and geomechanics coupled reservoir simulation preferred.
• Minimum requirement: Proficiency in black oil simulation.
• Familiarity with reservoir management and enhanced recovery processes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
