Job Summary
We are seeking a Lead Quality Engineer with 10 to 12 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong technical skills in Java and Selenium with a preference for experience in Analytics. This hybrid role requires a proactive individual who can ensure the highest quality standards in our software products. The position operates during day shifts and does not require travel.
Responsibilities
Lead the quality assurance efforts for software projects ensuring all deliverables meet the highest standards.Oversee the development and execution of test plans test cases and test scripts using Java and Selenium.Provide guidance and mentorship to junior quality engineers fostering a culture of continuous improvement.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality issues in a timely manner.Develop and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts to improve testing efficiency and coverage.Conduct thorough code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.Analyze test results and provide detailed reports to stakeholders highlighting any potential risks or issues.Implement and monitor quality metrics to track the effectiveness of testing processes and identify areas for improvement.Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and advancements in quality engineering and testing methodologies.Ensure compliance with company policies standards and regulatory requirements throughout the software development lifecycle.Participate in project planning and estimation activities providing accurate time and resource estimates for quality assurance tasks.Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the overall quality and efficiency of the software development process.Collaborate with product managers and developers to understand requirements and design effective test strategies.
Qualifications
Possess strong technical skills in Java and Selenium with a proven track record of successful test automation.Demonstrate experience in developing and executing comprehensive test plans and test cases.Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.Show proficiency in using test management and defect tracking tools.Have experience in mentoring and guiding junior team members.Display strong analytical skills and attention to detail.Preferably have domain experience in Analytics.Possess excellent communication and collaboration skills.Show a proactive approach to identifying and addressing quality issues.Demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a hybrid work model.Have a strong understanding of software development lifecycle and quality assurance processes.Exhibit a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.Hold relevant certifications in quality engineering or software testing.
