As a Lead Quality Assurance Engineer ,you'll work closely with the development team and program team, assisting with all aspects of the agile development cycle. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide insight and guidance through the testing cycles. You will ensure work meets required functional specifications and internal quality targets.
 

As a Lead Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Driving autonomously quality into the development process, through analysis and feedback of testing results, working directly with the design and development team
  • Creating/executing test cases for maximum test coverage & developing/executing maintainable automation tests for acceptance, functional, and regression testing using UFT framework
  • Demonstrating the ability to understand, debug, contribute to exiting code base & formulate continuous improvement solutions
  • Applying principles of SDLC and methodologies like Lean/Agile and knowledge of integrating tests in CI/CD setup
  • Providing mentorship to team members and proficient in effort estimation, quality engineering, test planning, and entire software testing life cycle
  • Formulating best practices, coding standards, refactoring and testing techniques

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have an Engineering Degree from an accredited university with minimum 5-6 years of working experience.
  • Have predominant experience in test automation tools and programming languages preferably UFT for Windows Application using VB scripting
  • Have experience in agile project management systems such as Jira, Rally, Azure DevOps or similar ones
  • Have experience working with the SVN, Azure cloud platform, Virtual Machines, SQL Server and MDB Database
  • Have the zeal to explore alternate technologies and approaches to solving problems
