What you’ll do:

 Leadership:

• Ø  Provide leadership and guidance to a team of QA professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Ø  Mentor team members in the best practices of API automation and performance testing.

Strategy and Planning:

• Ø  Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and test cases specifically for API automation and performance testing.
• Ø  Contribute to the overall QA strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.

Automation and Performance Testing:

• Ø  Design, develop, and maintain scalable and maintainable automated test scripts for API testing, utilizing industry-standard tools and frameworks.
• Ø  Conduct performance testing to identify and address bottlenecks, assess system scalability, and ensure optimal software performance.

Collaboration:

• Ø  Work closely with development, product management, and operations teams to understand requirements, identify testing needs, and resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Ø  Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, providing valuable insights to enhance the overall software development lifecycle.

Reporting and Documentation:

• Ø  Generate comprehensive test reports, including performance metrics, to communicate the status of testing efforts to stakeholders.
• Ø  Maintain clear and detailed documentation of test plans, test cases, and automation scripts.

What are we looking for:

• Ø  Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Ø  Proven experience in a QA leadership role, with a focus on API automation and performance testing.
• Ø  Strong proficiency in API automation tools such as Postman, RestAssured, or similar.
• Ø  Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or Gatling.
• Ø  Proficient in scripting languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Ø  Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).
• Ø  Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ø  Effective communication and leadership abilities.
