Lead, Program Delivery

Program Delivery oversees day-to-day project activities, including management of the internal team and client communication. Theyre also responsible for resourcing and financial reporting across the program. Program Delivery has unique autonomy to be strategic and drive decision making. Theyre there from start to fnish. Ultimately, program management is the hub thats holding everything together.


Whats the Role?

We are seeking a Lead of Program Delivery to help lead an India based delivery team and support the operational in market needs for that time, while partnering with leads across the globe for a large-scale technology client. The role will focus on driving delivery excellence across a set of retainer teams focused primarily on web and application development and integrated digital products. You will serve as the connective hub between development teams, cross-discipline partners, and leadership, balancing tactical oversight with strategic operational planning, while ensuring the health and growth of your team. As a director, a core responsibility will be to act as a critical connection point, ensuring seamless communication and program alignment between the India-based team and essential cross-craft leaders and partners located in North America and Colombia.


What youll be doing:

  • Lead the planning and delivery of multiple development and engineering workstreams.
  • Partner closely with cross-craft leaders to dene solutions, manage risks and dependencies, and drive progress across distributed teams.
  • Act as the escalation point for delivery issues within the India based team or those they are partnering with, ensuring blockers are resolved quickly and risks are mitigated
  • proactively.
  • Oversee India based Project Managers, providing coaching, mentorship, and structured performance management to support team growth.
  • Ensure teams are appropriately stated by partnering with resource management and making thoughtful allocation decisions that balance delivery needs with team health.
  • Support in managing financials with projects including forecasting, reporting, and risk assessment to ensure delivery against budget and timeline.
  • Operate a program of continuous evolution in the creation of a new team in the region by ensuring delivery best practices are in place, and evolving methods, tools, and
  • processes for working effectively with development-heavy teams in an agile or hybrid environment. Have a program of active communication and measurement with reporting on relevant program delivery metrics.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within delivery and development teams.
  • Support organizational growth by recruiting, onboarding, and developing future Program and Project Management talent.
  • Work seamlessly within a global organizational structure, coordinating across regions and time zones, and collaborating with international stakeholders.


What wed like to see:

  • Extensive experience managing cross-functional development teams, ideally within a global client-services (agency, consultancy) organization.
  • Proven track record leading multi-disciplinary teams with a heavy development focus, including web and application engineers.
  • Strong command of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), agile methodologies, and modern delivery practices.
  • Experience working across multiple geographies and time zones, reporting into and partnering with global leadership teams. Experience creating active collaboration that is structured, logical, and applicable to a distributed team across functions and region.
  • Demonstrated success managing and developing direct reports, fostering high-performing delivery teams.
  • Deep understanding of the technical nuances of website and web product development including front and backend web development, CMS and web content, and services, localization, third-party integrations, and vendor management, with the ability to translate technical dependencies into delivery plans.
  • Strong problem-solving, prioritization, and risk management skills in complex, fast-paced environments.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate between technical teams and business stakeholders.
