Lead - Power Electronics Hardware Design

Role Overview

We are looking for a Lead Power Electronics Hardware Design to lead the design and development of high-reliability power electronic systems. The role will drive hardware architecture, design reviews, validation, and team leadership across power converter and motor drive platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead hardware design of power electronic converters (AC-DC, DC-DC, DC-AC) and motor drives.
• Own system architecture, schematic design, component selection, and PCB design reviews.
• Drive design validation, FMEA, DVP, EMI/EMC compliance, and root-cause analysis.
• Mentor and manage a team of hardware design engineers.
• Collaborate with firmware, mechanical, manufacturing, and quality teams.
• Support prototype build, testing, and transition to production.

Key Requirements

• Bachelors / Masters in Electrical, Electronics, or Power Electronics Engineering.
• 812+ years of experience in power electronics hardware design.
• Strong hands-on experience with converters, inverters, and motor drives.
• Proven expertise in EMI/EMC, thermal design, and reliability engineering.
• Experience leading design teams and managing technical reviews.
