About the Role

We are looking for a Lead Post-Silicon Validation Engineer to drive validation of complex ARM-based SoCs powering next-generation AI, mobile, automotive, and data-center platforms.

In this role, you will be responsible for silicon bring-up, debug, and validation of ARM-based SoCs, working closely with architecture, design, firmware, and pre-silicon verification teams to ensure first-silicon success. You will lead validation strategy, root-cause complex silicon issues, and help optimize performance, power, and reliability.

This role requires strong expertise in ARM SoC architecture, silicon debug methodologies, and system-level validation.

What Youll Do

• Lead post-silicon validation and bring-up of complex ARM-based SoCs.
• Develop and execute validation plans for CPU, interconnect, memory, and IO subsystems.
• Debug complex silicon issues across hardware, firmware, and system software layers.
• Validate key SoC components such as ARM CPU clusters, cache hierarchy, coherency fabrics, memory controllers, and high-speed interfaces.
• Develop automation frameworks and validation tools using scripting languages.
• Analyze failures using silicon debug tools, trace infrastructure, and performance counters.
• Collaborate with pre-silicon verification teams to improve validation coverage and methodologies.
• Work closely with architecture and design teams to root-cause silicon bugs and drive fixes.
• Drive system-level validation, performance characterization, and stress testing.
• Mentor engineers and help scale post-silicon validation infrastructure and best practices.

Minimum Qualifications

• 815 years of experience in Post-Silicon Validation or Silicon Debug.
• Strong understanding of ARM SoC Architecture.
• Experience with ARM CPU subsystems (Cortex/Neoverse), cache coherency, and AMBA interconnects.
• Hands-on experience with silicon bring-up, board validation, and hardware debug.
• Experience debugging across hardware, firmware, and low-level software layers.
• Strong scripting skills in Python / Perl / Shell for automation and validation frameworks.
• Experience with JTAG, trace, performance monitors, and silicon debug tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ARM AMBA protocols (AXI, ACE, CHI).
• Exposure to high-speed interfaces such as PCIe, DDR, Ethernet, or CXL.
• Experience with boot flows, firmware bring-up, and low-level drivers.
• Familiarity with Linux kernel debugging and system software interactions.
• Experience working with emulation platforms or FPGA prototypes.
• Prior experience leading validation teams or complex silicon bring-up programs.
