Role summary

The SAC Solution Architect Lead will be responsible for endtoend design and governance of SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) solutions, covering architecture, planning and reporting for budgeting, forecasting and Cost of Production (COP). The role will lead the SAC design across data models, workflows, security, performance and user experience, working closely with finance, operations and IT stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Define overall SAC architecture, integration approach and technical standards in alignment with enterprise landscape (SAP and nonSAP).
• Design robust SAC data models including dimensions, hierarchies, measures and versioning strategy for Actuals, Budgets, Forecasts and scenarios.
• Lead design and build of budgeting, forecasting and COP planning models, including driverbased logic, allocations, data actions and multiactions.
• Conceptualize and deliver executive dashboards, selfservice stories and KPI frameworks for finance and business functions
• Define and implement planning workflows, tasks and approval processes using SAC planning calendar and workflow capabilities.
• Own SAC security design (roles, teams, data access control, model privacy) in collaboration with IT security and compliance.
• Drive performance optimization of models, stories and data actions, following SAC planning performance best practices.
• Provide design governance, review and signoff for SAC objects across projects; maintain solution documentation and standards.
• Mentor and guide SAC consultants and developers; support key user enablement and adoption.

Required experience and skills

• 8+ years in BI/Planning with at least 34 years handson in SAP Analytics Cloud (planning and reporting).
• Strong expertise in SAC modelling (dimensions, measures, versions), planning features (data actions, allocations, multiactions) and story design.
• Demonstrated experience designing budgeting and COP/finance planning solutions integrated with SAP FI/CO and related modules.
• Solid understanding of SAC security, performance tuning and best practices for largescale planning deployments.
• Excellent stakeholder management, solution design and documentation skills; ability to lead crossfunctional design workshops.
