We are building our Founding Faculty Team and seeking an experienced AMI-certified Montessori Directress to lead our 36 environment.

Role Overview

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Lead Montessori Teacher (AMI Certified) positioned in Hyderabad. As the Lead Directress, you will guide a mixed-age Montessori classroom (36 years), mentor assistant teachers, and shape the academic and cultural standards of AVRA.

This is not just a classroom role it is a leadership opportunity.

The Lead Montessori Teacher will be responsible for designing and implementing engaging lesson plans, guiding children according to Montessori principles, and creating a positive, nurturing, and organized classroom environment. The role involves individually observing and supporting each childs learning journey, fostering their intellectual and social development, and maintaining consistent communication with families. Additionally, the candidate will supervise and guide assistant teachers, collaborate with colleagues, and ensure adherence to Montessori philosophy and practices.

• Present Montessori materials with precision and fidelity
• Maintain a fully prepared Montessori environment
• Observe and document child development meaningfully
• Guide assistants and classroom helpers
• Build strong parent partnerships through regular communication
• Ensure classroom aesthetics and discipline reflect premium standards

Required Qualifications

• AMI Certification (36 Years) Mandatory. Minimum 3 years Montessori classroom experience
• Certified AMI Montessori qualification and relevant degree in Education or related field.
• Fluent in English (Mandatory)
• Proficiency in either Telugu or Hindi (Mandatory)
• Comfort using digital tools for documentation and communication
• Proficiency in Lesson Planning and curriculum development tailored to the Montessori method.
• Strong foundation in Education and Teaching with hands-on Montessori experience.
• Excellent Communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and team members.
• Proficiency in Training and mentoring assistant teachers in Montessori methods and best practices.
• Commitment to upholding Montessori principles, fostering a child-centered learning environment.
• Compassionate and patient approach with a passion for working with children.
• Previous experience in a leadership or Lead Teacher role is preferred.
