Lead Java Developer

Work Location: Bangalore (Bommanahalli) WFO (3 days/week)

We are looking for a Lead Software Engineer who is highly hands-on and capable of leading a development team while actively contributing to coding, reviews, and delivery. The role requires strong execution skills, technical leadership, and close collaboration with stakeholders to deliver high-quality software.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day design and development activities for backend and frontend components
• Contribute extensively to hands-on coding, debugging, and performance tuning
• Guide developers through code reviews, best practices, and design standards
• Ensure delivery of scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions
• Collaborate with architects and stakeholders to implement agreed designs
• Drive sprint execution, task planning, and on-time delivery
• Own estimation and technical feasibility analysis for assigned modules
• Ensure proper logging, monitoring, and observability in all environments
• Support DevOps activities, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud deployments
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and provide regular status updates and risk reporting
• Mentor team members and provide regular performance feedback
• Participate in technical interviews and support hiring needs

Primary Skills & Qualifications

8+ years of software development experience

Strong expertise in:

• Java
• Backend frameworks: Spring Boot / Node.js
• Frontend frameworks: React.js / Angular
• Databases: RDBMS and/or NoSQL
• Strong frontend fundamentals: HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices
• Good understanding of cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Azure)
• Working knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD pipelines
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
