Role Overview

We are seeking a senior infrastructure professional to lead and oversee enterprise-level Networking, Virtualization platforms, and Backup & Disaster Recovery environments. The role requires strong operational governance, stakeholder management, and hands-on technical oversight to ensure high availability, performance, security, and resilience across IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage enterprise networking infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, WLAN, firewalls, routing, switching, and network security components.
• Oversee network architecture, performance monitoring, capacity planning, and high availability configurations.
• Drive network security, compliance, and resilience in coordination with security teams.
• Oversee enterprise virtualization environments (VMware / Hyper-V / other platforms), including capacity planning, performance tuning, and high availability configuration.
• Manage and optimize backup and disaster recovery strategies, ensuring data integrity, compliance, and periodic DR drills.
• Establish governance for business continuity planning and infrastructure resilience.
• Coordinate with application, security, cloud, and operations teams to ensure seamless infrastructure support.
• Monitor infrastructure health, security posture, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Manage vendor relationships, AMC contracts, audits, and technology upgrades.
• Prepare and present infrastructure performance metrics, availability reports, and risk assessments to senior leadership.
• Lead, mentor, and develop infrastructure teams across networking, virtualization, and platform management functions.

Technical Skills Required

• Strong experience in enterprise networking technologies (LAN/WAN, routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, load balancers, network security).
• Expertise in Virtualization technologies (VMware vSphere, Hyper-V, VDI, clustering, HA, etc.).
• Hands-on experience in Enterprise Backup Solutions (Veeam, Veritas, Commvault, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of DR strategy, replication, and recovery testing.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure / AWS), including hybrid networking, is an added advantage.
• Strong understanding of infrastructure and network security best practices.
