About the Role

We are a rapidly scaling organization operating in the large-scale data center infrastructure space. As we expand across India, we are looking for a seasoned Lead HR Business Partner (HRBP) to drive strategic and operational HR leadership for our data center construction and operations workforce.

This role will partner closely with senior business leaders to strengthen people practices across project execution, site operations, and corporate support functions.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic HR Business Partnering

• Act as a trusted HR advisor to business leaders across data center construction, operations, and support teams.
• Drive workforce planning, organizational design, and people strategy aligned with business growth.
• Partner with leadership on culture building, employee engagement, and organizational effectiveness.

Employee Relations & Engagement

• Own employee relations across corporate and site-based teams.
• Drive engagement initiatives to improve retention, productivity, and workplace culture.
• Manage grievance handling, conflict resolution, and ensure a positive employee experience.
• Support leadership in building a high-performance, people-first environment.

Performance Management & Leadership Coaching

• Lead performance management cycles including goal setting, reviews, and development planning.
• Coach managers on performance conversations, feedback, and team effectiveness.
• Drive capability building and leadership development initiatives.

Compensation, Rewards & HR Governance

• Support annual compensation planning, rewards programs, and incentive structures.
• Ensure consistent implementation of HR policies, frameworks, and governance.
• Partner with leadership on retention and recognition strategies.

HR Operations & Compliance

• Ensure adherence to labor laws and statutory compliance, especially for site-based workforces.
• Oversee HR operations across employee lifecycle processes including:
• Onboarding support
• Employee documentation
• Policy implementation
• Exit management
• Support compliance for contractor/vendor workforce models at project sites.

Change Management & Scaling

• Play a key role in HR integration as the organization scales across multiple locations.
• Drive change management initiatives in fast-growing project environments.
• Build scalable HR frameworks suited for infrastructure and mission-critical operations.

Required Experience & Skills

• 1015 years of progressive HR experience, with significant HRBP leadership exposure.
• Strong experience supporting industries such as:

-Data Centers / Infrastructure / EPC / ConstructionIndustrial

- Manufacturing / Power / Utilities

• Proven capability managing HR for both:
• Corporate teams
• Large on-ground / project-based workforces
• Strong stakeholder management with senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
• Deep understanding of HR systems, compliance, and workforce policies.
• Excellent communication, leadership presence, and execution mindset.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting multi-location infrastructure expansion projects.
• Prior exposure to mission-critical environments like data centers, telecom infra, industrial facilities.
• Strong understanding of contractor workforce models and site HR operations.
