What Youll Own

Own the technical direction of Arkahubs core power conversion hardware from topology selection through to production-ready schematics, working directly with the founding team

Design the grid-tied inverter stage: multi-level power conversion, output filter, and grid interface circuits engineered for Indian voltage and frequency conditions

Architect the seamless backup and power conditioning system that lets households ride through outages and voltage events without noticing

Define subsystem interface specifications and work with external design partners on isolated DC-DC and solar input stages; review and validate partner deliverables

Own the thermal architecture: ensure the product operates reliably at Indian rooftop ambient temperatures across a 15-year service life

Design the protection and safety architecture: overcurrent, overvoltage, ground fault detection, surge protection, and anti-islanding all compliant with Indian standards

Drive the product through BIS certification and pre-compliance, coordinating with test labs and regulatory bodies

Engage semiconductor vendor FAE teams to optimise component selection and power stage performance

What You Bring

810 years in power electronics hardware design, with 3+ years on grid-connected inverters (solar, UPS, energy storage, or motor drives with grid interface)

Hands-on experience with multi-level inverter topologies and neutral-point management

Designed and brought to production at least one product with grid-side output filtering (LCL, LC, or equivalent)

Experience with Indian or international certification for power electronics (BIS IS 16221, IEC 62109, or equivalent)

Proficient with Altium Designer, power simulation tools (PLECS, LTspice, or equivalent), and magnetics design fundamentals

Comfortable working across the full hardware lifecycle: concept schematic layout review bring-up characterisation production transfer

Bonus Points

Experience designing inverters, energy storage systems, or EV chargers for the Indian grid

Familiarity with Indian grid realities: wide voltage range, neutral-earth voltage, DG synchronisation, capacitor bank transients

Wide-bandgap semiconductor experience (GaN, SiC) and EMC debugging skills
