Role: Lead Generation Specialist

Region: North America Automotive Segment

Function: Sales Support / Business Development

Reports To: Sales Leadership (Automotive)

Experience Range: 3-7 Years


Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive and driven Lead Generation Specialist to support our North America Automotive sales team. This role focuses on identifying potential customers, initiating contact, and scheduling qualified meetings for the sales team. The ideal candidate is resourceful, detailoriented, and highly comfortable with outbound prospecting activities, including cold calling, emailing, and market research.


Key Responsibilities

1. Lead Generation & Prospecting

  • Conduct cold calls, emails, and outreach campaigns to generate new business opportunities within the Automotive sector.
  • Secure qualified meetings and discovery calls for the sales team.
  • Manage outbound outreach volume while maintaining highquality engagement and follow-ups.

2. Research & Market Intelligence

  • Identify and research prospects, decision-makers, and key stakeholders across OEMs
  • Gather intelligence about companies, organizational structures, and potential business needs.

3. Collaboration With Sales Team

  • Work closely with sales representatives to align on prospecting strategy, target accounts, and messaging.
  • Utilize common prospecting sheets and shared tools to ensure transparency and collaboration.
  • Support sales team members who will also be writing/calling prospects; coordinate cadence and outreach strategy.

4. Pipeline & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate and updated records of outreach activities, lead status, and follow-ups in CRM/prospecting sheets.
  • Provide weekly updates on lead generation performance, pipeline health, and meeting conversions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 3-7 years experience in lead generation, inside sales, or business development for Automotive clients (Engineering Services or IT Services) in North America.
  • Strong communication skills- both written and verbal-with confidence in cold outreach.
  • Ability to research target accounts and identify qualified prospects efficiently.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools.
  • Self-starter with strong organizational skills and discipline in managing outreach activities.
