Job Description
Designation: Lead Accessibility Developer
Location: [Pune] | Experience: 4+ Years
Role Summary:
Were looking for an Accessibility Developer to build and remediate accessible web experiences in line with WCAG standards, ensuring compatibility with assistive technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement accessibility fixes using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, jQuery
- Interpret and resolve issues identified by accessibility scanners and audits
- Apply WCAG 2.2 and W3C Authoring Practices
- Collaborate with audit and cross-functional teams
- Create clear documentation and provide status updates
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of semantic HTML, CSS, Typescript, ARIA
- JavaScript fundamentals (DOM, events)
- Debugging using browser developer tools
- Experience testing with screen readers (NVDA, Voiceover, JAWS) and keyboard navigation
- Good written English communication
- Team Lead Experience
Qualifications:
- 4+ years in Web Development / QA
- Familiarity with WCAG & Section 508
- JIRA/Agile experience preferred
- CPACC or WAS certification is a plus
