Lead – Foundational AI

Key Responsibilities

• Lead design, training, and deployment of foundational and generative AI models.
• Fine-tune LLMs (GPT, Claude, open-source) for enterprise use.
• Guide a team of AI engineers to deliver high-impact solutions.
• Build ML pipelines (supervised/unsupervised) and integrate AI into Piramal Finance platforms.
• Collaborate across business, product, and tech teams to drive AI initiatives.
• Ensure model performance, scalability, and compliance.
• Stay updated on LLM, RAG, and generative AI advancements.

Required Skills & Experience

• 35 years experience in AI/ML (model building, fine-tuning, deployment).
• Expertise in Agentic Architecture, MCPs, and RAG frameworks.
• Strong with Python, PyTorch/TensorFlow, Hugging Face, Docker, and Git.
• Hands-on with LLM fine-tuning (LoRA, PEFT) and vector databases.
• Solid grasp of prompt engineering and ML Ops practices.
• Experience mentoring engineers; NBFC/BFSI exposure preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• B.Tech/M.Tech from IIT/NIT/BITS or equivalent.
• Experience deploying AI models in enterprise or finance environments.
