Lead Engineer

Job Description:

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Mobile Test Engineer with 6-8 years of experience in testing native and hybrid mobile applications across Android and iOS platforms. You will responsible for testing end-to-end test cases, mobile functional test cases, implement best practices, and ensure the delivery of high-quality mobile applications that meet business and user needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform mobile testing efforts from planning through execution and release.
Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive test strategies, plans, and cases for iOS and Android apps.
Perform functional, regression, integration, performance, and usability testing.
Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and UX designers to identify and resolve issues.
Set up and manage automated test frameworks using tools such as Appium, Espresso, XCUITest, or similar.
Implement CI/CD integration for automated mobile testing.
Drive exploratory testing to identify edge cases and usability issues.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

6-8 years of experience in QA/testing, with at least 5+ years focused on mobile app testing.
Strong knowledge of mobile platforms (Android/iOS) and testing methodologies.
Proficiency in test automation using Appium, Espresso, or XCUITest.
Experience with mobile testing tools like Charles Proxy, Firebase Test Lab, TestFlight, BrowserStack, etc.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Bitrise).
Experience with agile development processes.
Strong debugging and analytical skills.
Good knowledge of API testing (e.g., Postman, REST Assured).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience testing mobile apps with high user traffic and performance demands.
Knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner for mobile apps.
Experience working with remote/distributed teams.
