Lead Designer

Role Overview

The Design Lead will lead the overall design vision, strategy, and execution across products, brand, and customer experiences. This role is responsible for building and mentoring high-performing design teams while ensuring design excellence, consistency, and impact across all touchpoints.

Key Responsibilities

Define and own the design vision and strategy aligned with business goals

Lead end-to-end design across product, brand, UX/UI, and marketing assets

Build, mentor, and manage a multi-disciplinary design team

Establish and maintain design systems, guidelines, and standards

Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Business teams

Drive user-centric design practices through research, testing, and iteration

Review and approve design outputs to ensure quality, consistency, and scalability

Manage design roadmaps, timelines, and priorities

Stay updated with industry trends, tools, and best practices

Required Skills & Experience

Proven experience leading design teams and large design initiatives

Strong expertise in UX/UI, interaction design, and visual design

Experience with design systems and scalable design frameworks

Proficiency with design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite , etc.

Strong understanding of user research, usability testing, and analytics

Ability to translate business requirements into intuitive design solutions

Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills

Education

Bachelors or Masters degree in Design, Fine Arts, HCI, or related fields (preferred)
