Job Description
Required Technical Skill Set: Substation secondary design
Desired Experience Range: 3-8 Years
Location of Requirement: Chennai
Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)
Must-Have:
- Good experience in Design & Detailed engineering for both AIS and GIS Substations.
- Good experience in handling EPC projects starting from Scoping phase till construction & commissioning support.
- Good experience in leading the team with atleast a 10 member design & Drafting team.
- Good Experience in customer front ending to resolve issues.
- Good Experience working with multidisciplinary/cross func tional teams.
- Good experience in Selection & sizing of HT / LT Switchgears, Transformers, Breakers, Disconnect Switches, Regulators, Cables, Capacitor banks etc .
- Good Experience in designing of Lightning Protection, Surge Arresters, Station batteries, battery chargers & AC Station Service.
- Good experience in preparing Engineering Specification, Data Sheets, Material Requisition & Purchase Requisition, Vendor Bid Evaluation & Approvals for Various electrical equipments
- Good understanding on the various types of SLD schemes, Station Station layout, control building layout, Earthing layout, Lighting layout, Cable Trench, Tray, Pull box etc.
