Job Title – Lead - Database Administrator
The Purpose of Your Role
Responsible for managing Fidelity Brokerage’s Db2 on z/OS Platform along with Aurora PostgreSQL and Aerospike on AWS.
The Value You Deliver
As part of this role, the DBA will be responsible for the below key responsibilities:
Providing Application Database and Replication support for a large DB2 z/OS sysplex environment
Providing Application Database and Data Migration support for an established cloud-based database infrastructure
SQL tuning and Performance on both Db2 and PostgreSQL
Maintenance of Databases – Utilities management
Providing 12x7 on-call support
Database Engineering
The Skills that are Key to this role
Extensive experience in DB2 z/OS Database Administration in a large complex Database Environment
Extensive experience in SQL, JCL, COBOL
Experience in Qrep and IIDR replication products
How your Work Impacts the Organization
Knowledge of DB2 LUW on LINUX/UNIX
Experience on CA Platinum tools
Expertise in distributed technologies (Linux, VSCode, Git, Jenkins) including AWS based Aurora PostgreSQL
Expertise in AWS concepts and services like IAM, SSO, KMS/CMK, PG, PHZ, VPC, Route53, RDS, RDS-Proxy, Lambda, S3, EBS,CloudWatch, DMS, EC2, AMI, rehydration, etc. and provisioning them
