We are hiring a Lead Data Scientist to join a fast-growing AI-driven product company building predictive intelligence solutions for commercial fleets across the US market.
This is a founding team opportunity where you will define the data science roadmap, architect large-scale ML systems, and build real-world AI products that directly reduce vehicle breakdowns and operational costs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and shape the data science function and ML strategy
- Build predictive maintenance and anomaly detection models
- Design ETL pipelines to process large-scale IoT and CAN-bus data
- Develop real-time ML systems with low-latency inference
- Build and deploy LLM-powered conversational copilots
- Implement MLOps best practices including CI/CD, monitoring, and observability
- Mentor and grow a high-performing data science team
Mandatory Skills:
- 7+ years of experience in Data Science / Machine Learning
- Minimum 3 years in Vehicle Telematics / Automotive Diagnostics / Industrial IoT
- Strong expertise in Python and advanced ML techniques
- Experience with CAN-bus protocols (J1939, OBD-II)
- Real-time data streaming experience (Kafka / Kinesis or similar)
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and production ML deployments
- Strong understanding of vehicle systems (engine, transmission, exhaust)
