Lead - Data Integration

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Team Lead having database expertise to join our team and contribute to the development and maintenance of our web applications.
You will be responsible for writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code, focusing on the backend logic and database management of our web applications to ensure that the applications are high-performing, scalable, and user-friendly.
Job Profile / Responsibilities:

• Understanding requirements from Solution Architects and Product Management team
• Enhance the existing data model of the solution
• Develop and maintain associated API/Interfaces for the front-end and back-end
• Develop and maintain associated utilities/scripts to facilitate ETL process
• Update the respective Data Integration Specification documents
• Management of periodic data loads
• Customer support for a live implementation or the onboarding projects
• Resolving issues & queries raised by the customer
• Interfacing with the other development teams to get the product issues addressed
• Manage and supervise the team of 3 to 5 members.

Educational Qualification:

• Engineering Graduates from a reputed university with specialization in Information Technology or Computer Science

Experience:

• Candidate should have 5-7 years of experience, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or team lead role

Essential Technical Skills:

• Strong understanding of database management and SQL
• Oracle RDBMS/MS SQL experience with working knowledge of PL/SQL
• Perl Shell Scripting
• Unix/Linux, Windows operating environments
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)

Essential Soft Skills:

• Ability to guide, mentor, and review the work of junior developers in the team.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience in JavaScript
• Experience in SQL Query Tuning/Optimization
• Experience in other RDBMS like MS-SQL or PostgreSQL
