Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Lead Data Engineer to build and scale the data infrastructure at Truemeds. You will be responsible for designing high-performance data pipelines, enabling real-time analytics, and supporting data-driven decision-making across the organization. You will work closely with product, analytics, engineering, and business teams to build scalable and reliable data systems.

Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines.

Develop real-time and batch data processing systems using Apache Spark.

Build and maintain data warehouse solutions using Amazon Redshift and Snowflake.

Design and implement data models including fact tables and dimension tables.

Ensure data quality, integrity, and reliability across data platforms.

Optimize large-scale data processing pipelines and queries.

Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and product teams to deliver high-quality datasets.

Build real-time data processing pipelines for analytics and operational use cases.

Lead and mentor data engineers and implement best practices in data engineering.

Improve data infrastructure scalability, performance, and monitoring.

Required Skills

7+ years of experience in Data Engineering.

Strong programming experience in Python.

Hands-on experience with ETL pipeline development.

Strong experience with Apache Spark for distributed data processing.

Experience with data warehouses such as Amazon Redshift and Snowflake.

Strong SQL and data modeling expertise.

Experience designing fact tables and dimension tables.

Experience with real-time or streaming data processing systems.

Strong understanding of large-scale data architecture and distributed systems.

Preferred Skills

Experience with Airflow or workflow orchestration tools.

Experience with Kafka or streaming frameworks.

Experience with AWS or other cloud data platforms.

Experience working in product-based or high-growth startup environments.
