We are looking for a highly skilled Lead Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize scalable data platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in data observability, automated data quality frameworks, and end-to-end data lineage, along with hands-on experience in modern cloud data ecosystems.

This role requires both deep technical capability and strong stakeholder communication, including the ability to present insights and technical decisions to senior leadership such as the CIO.

• Design and implement data observability and automated data quality frameworks
• Develop pattern recognition and anomaly detection mechanisms
• Build and maintain end-to-end data lineage (source-to-target visibility)
• Develop scalable pipelines using Python, SQL, Snowflake, and Airflow
• Implement API-based integrations with third-party data sources
• Optimize Snowflake performance (Snowpipe, warehousing, tuning)
• Ensure adherence to data modeling and CI/CD best practices
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders
• Present technical solutions and insights to senior leadership

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field
• 7+ years of experience in data engineering or data platform development
• 12+ years in a technical lead or senior role
• Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake (DW, Snowpipe, optimization)
• Strong experience with Apache Airflow
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python
• Experience with Azure / AWS / GCP data services
• Solid understanding of data modeling and CI/CD
• Excellent communication skills with leadership exposure
