Job Description
Pune-based innovator building AI ops software for fresh food supply chains seeks a hands-on Lead Data Engineer (Data Integration Track) to own pipelines and scale our team.
Must-Have Requirements
- 5+ years data engineering; 2+ years leading/mentoring small teams
- Active coder: Shipped production pipelines (SQL/Python/PySpark) in last 6 months
- Expert SQL (PostgreSQL/ClickHouse/MySQL), data modeling (Star/Snowflake/SCDs)
- Orchestration (Airflow/NiFi), cloud pipelines (AWS/Azure/GCP: S3/Lambda/EMR)
- US time zone overlap; strong communication for non-tech stakeholders
Key Responsibilities
- Design scalable ETL/ELT for ERPs/PLCs/CRMs; lead squad of 2-5 engineers
- Optimize pipelines, RCAs, data quality; collaborate with AI/ML teams
Nice-to-Haves
- IaC (Terraform), Docker/K8s, data quality tools
