Job Description
Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary point of escalation for L2-level network issues and outages.
- Lead the troubleshooting and resolution of LAN/WAN, switching, routing, and wireless network issues.
- Monitor network performance and health using tools like SolarWinds, Wireshark, or equivalent.
- Analyze incident trends and propose permanent fixes to reduce repeat issues.
- Assist in implementing changes and upgrades per the change management process.
- Collaborate with architecture teams for infrastructure improvements and design changes.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior network engineers and L1 support teams.
- Maintain and update network documentation, diagrams, and configuration records.
- Ensure compliance with security policies and support network-related audit activities.
