Responsibilities

:
•    Required skills: Linux, SQL, Hive, Hadoop, HBase, Spark, Scala/Python
•    Good to have Skills: Basic knowledge of Kafka and UC4, Jira and Github
•    Monitoring spark jobs. 
•    Creation of jobs and job plans using UC4
•    Monitoring jobs/job plans in UC4
•    Restart, cancel, apply breakpoint to UC4 jobs using DALM 
•    Use of postman to run various commands
•    Deployment of jar and config files  for jobs.
•    There is a slack group help-rps. Engineer is responsible to answer all questions asked by other teams in this channel
•    Serve as the first point of contact for clients' inquiries, issues, and requests related to 
RPS
•    Respond promptly to user queries via email, phone, or ticketing system.
•    Work closely with the Paypal RPS development team to identify system improvements and enhancements.
•    Collaborate with clients to gather feedback and requirements for system enhancements.
•    Participate in the testing of system upgrades and new features.
•    Develop and deliver training materials for end-users to enhance their understanding of the Paypal RPS.
•    Analyse system data to identify trends and issues that require attention.
•    Proactively monitor system performance and address potential issues before they impact users.
•    Maintain system configurations and user profiles as required.
•    Maintain clear and effective communication with clients, ensuring their needs are met.
•    Regularly update clients on system improvements, scheduled maintenance, and important announcements.
