Responsibilities

Deploy, manage, and maintain Kubernetes clusters using AWS EKS, ensuring high availability and performance.

Provide Tier 2/3 support for Kubernetes and EKS-related issues, including troubleshooting and resolving complex problems.

Optimize Kubernetes configurations and AWS resources for cost efficiency and performance.

Implement and manage monitoring solutions, set up alerts, and respond to incidents to maintain the health and reliability of our clusters.

Ensure Kubernetes clusters comply with security best practices and organizational policies. Implement security controls and monitor for vulnerabilities.

Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for EKS environments, troubleshooting procedures, and best practices. Share knowledge with team members and contribute to the development of internal guidelines.

Work closely with development teams to support the deployment and scaling of applications. Provide guidance on Kubernetes best practices and application design.
