Required Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, MIS, or related field.
• At least 7+ years working in progressive Procurement roles
• 3+ years of experience working in an agile development environment.

• Working knowledge of Procurement best practices

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Bachelors or masters degree in business management, Finance, or a related discipline; or an equivalent combination of demonstrated skills and experience
• Experience in Manufacturing, Retail or Agriculture industry

Preferred Competencies/Skills:

• Ability to work closely with business partners to influence decisions on technology investments
• Ability to provide technical leadership to evangelize best practices/proven patterns and promote the use of Corporate IT standards
• Ariba technical resource for Strategic Suite of Applications (upstream), including Sourcing, Contract and Supplier Lifecycle and Performance (SLP) modules
• Research and configure system parameters and templates per business requirements and new feature releases from Ariba (quarterly release)
• Research and provide solutions for any issues relating to supplier setup or data updates, particularly with Supplier records integrations from Ariba SLP to Vendor Hub; from Vendor Hub to ERP systems and Ariba Buying and Invoicing
• Assist Sourcing Ops team as needed to answer ITSM tickets on Ariba questions.
• Assist category managers as requested, i.e. contract workspace cleanup; supplier qualifications/ preferred status; supplier deactivations; preparing sourcing events and documentation, etc.
