Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, MIS, or related field.
- At least 7+ years working in progressive Procurement roles
- 3+ years of experience working in an agile development environment.

- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex concepts to a non-technical audience.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders and understand their needs.
- Leverages the desired outcome (the why) to inspire the appropriate output (the how).
- Capacity to adapt to changing technologies and business needs, and to bring innovative approaches.
- Working knowledge of Procurement best practices
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelors or masters degree in business management, Finance, or a related discipline; or an equivalent combination of demonstrated skills and experience
- Experience in Manufacturing, Retail or Agriculture industry
Preferred Competencies/Skills:
- Ability to work closely with business partners to influence decisions on technology investments
- Ability to provide technical leadership to evangelize best practices/proven patterns and promote the use of Corporate IT standards
- Ariba technical resource for Strategic Suite of Applications (upstream), including Sourcing, Contract and Supplier Lifecycle and Performance (SLP) modules
- Research and configure system parameters and templates per business requirements and new feature releases from Ariba (quarterly release)
- Research and provide solutions for any issues relating to supplier setup or data updates, particularly with Supplier records integrations from Ariba SLP to Vendor Hub; from Vendor Hub to ERP systems and Ariba Buying and Invoicing
- Assist Sourcing Ops team as needed to answer ITSM tickets on Ariba questions.
- Assist category managers as requested, i.e. contract workspace cleanup; supplier qualifications/ preferred status; supplier deactivations; preparing sourcing events and documentation, etc.
