JOB DESCRIPTION

Manage the entire product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities
Manages the design, features and benefits of products, volume forecasting & market share
Carries out pricing analysis and support distribution channels, design, develop and implement promotional plans for the products.
Leads the entire product portfolio which consist of Current account, Institutional Business, Payments and Cards, Forex services. Creating USP in the existing products so that it could become a talking point for the sales team.
Designs campaigns and contest to create excitement and driving business.
Monitors and scales business in key segments by driving segment managers.
Specify market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research supported by on-going visits to customers and non-customers.
Maintains a deep understanding of competition, ready and execute the competition and market share strategy on an ongoing and pro-active basis.
Liaising with IT, channels, electronic banking, operations, marketing and other important stakeholders.
Drives a solution set across development teams (Credit, Operations, technology and Marketing Communications) through market requirements, product contract, and positioning.
Works with marketing communications to define the go-to-market strategy, helping them understand the product positioning, key benefits, and target customer.
Owns the entire P&L and ensuring all products and variants are profitable.

DESIRED CANDIDATE PROFILE

Education: MBA/PGDM or equivalent qualification.
Experience: Minimum 12 to 15 years in Banking, with at least 5+ years in core product management.
Product Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Liability Products, Current Accounts, Institutional Business, Payments, and Cards/Forex services.
Functional Skills: Proven experience in product development, market analysis, and structuring solutions.
Technical & Soft Skills: Strong stakeholder management, team leadership, excellent presentation skills, and proficiency in Excel.
