Lead BI Analytics Engineer

Senior Analytics lead with Hands on expertise into in Data warehousing & BI Analytics Tableau ; who will take the overall responsibility for end-to-end software development, continuous integration, and continuous deployment, meeting a high level of quality working within established timelines and Engineering Excellence best practices.

The ideal candidate should have Strong development and Data engineering experience in Tableau, BI Data modelling, Design Custom Tableau Extension based solutions and knowledge of good knowledge of Data warehousing, ETL and Bigdata Spark. A dependable and resourceful software professional who can comfortably work in a large development team in a globally distributed, dynamic work environment that fosters diversity, teamwork and collaboration. The ability to work in high pressured environment is essential.

Qualifications:

• MCA/B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech (in computers, information technology or engineering)
• At least 8+ years overall IT experience with 10+ years in a Tech lead role with experience on large & complex data & analytics projects

Key Responsibilities:

• Experience in Designing & Developing end to end BI analytics solutions, designing Data models
• Must have development experience building custom Tableau Extensions. Tableau Javascript and Extensions API experience required.
• Experience in creating technical design documents, including data modelling and flow diagrams
• End-to-End expertise in working with Big Data platforms – Spark, Hive, Impala. Designing, programming, deployment, testing and maintenance of one or more applications
• End to End Implementation experience in Tableau
• Hands-on experience in SQL and ability to perform investigation of data issues, data scrubbing, data cleansing and data profiling, data quality rules
• Strong background in data modelling techniques, data warehousing and logical modelling best practices on Big Data Platform
• Experience in core UI technologies – Javascript, HTML, CSS, Jquery, AJAX etc
• Data driven visualization experience – D3, C3, etc
• Object Oriented programming experience.
• Strong understanding of Tableau architecture and components
• Good understanding of MOLAP, ROLAP, OLAP concepts
• Experience in leading small to medium teams of BI developers.
• Experience in working with Agile methodology / Scrum is preferred.
• Knowledge and experience with standard project methodologies, tools, and techniques
• Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and standards.
• Lead multiple projects independently.
