About the role


As a B2B Lead, you will play a crucial role in shaping the institutional sales strategy and accelerating growth in specific categories that enhance our company's profitability. You will be responsible for the entire profit and loss (P&L) of this division.



Key Responsibilities:


  1. Strategic planning and vision
  2. Develop and implement a B2B sales and marketing strategy that aligns with the companys overall business goals
  3. Identify target markets, ideal customer profiles and customer segments for growth
  4. Forecast trends and adjust strategies to stay ahead of industry developments


  1. Revenue generation and sales management
  2. Drive sales efforts and revenue targets to meet or exceed company objectives
  3. Develop and maintain relationships with high-value clients, partners and stakeholders to encourage repeat business and referrals


  1. Team leadership and development
  2. Recruit, develop and retain top sales talent to build a high-performing B2B team
  3. Coach and mentor team members, ensuring they have the skills and tools to succeed
  4. Foster a positive, results-driven environment that encourages collaboration and growth


  1. Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
  2. Establish strong client relationships through continuous communication and a customer-first approach
  3. Oversee CRM practices to ensure accurate, actionable data for tracking customer interactions and performance
  4. Proactively address and resolve customer issues to improve satisfaction and loyalty


  1. Market analysis and competitive intelligence
  2. Conduct in-depth market research to stay updated on competitors, trends and potential new business opportunities
  3. Analyze competitors products, services and market positioning to identify differentiators and advantages
  4. Leverage insights from market data to make informed decisions about strategic partnerships and product positioning


  1. Partnership and channel development
  2. Identify and build strategic alliances with key partners to enhance market reach and product distribution
  3. Negotiate and manage channel partnerships, joint ventures and alliances
  4. Manage China desk and improve the product pipeline
  5. Create frameworks for co-marketing and sales collaborations with partners to increase visibility and sales


  1. Financial management and budgeting
  2. Manage the B2B department budget and allocate resources effectively for optimal return on investment
  3. Manage the P&L for the B2B business division
  4. Prepare reports and financial forecasts to support senior leadership in decision-making


  1. Data-driven decision-making and reporting
  2. Use data analytics to monitor sales performance, conversion rates, and overall customer engagement
  3. Present regular performance reports to senior leadership, including analysis and recommendations for improvement


  1. Innovation and continuous improvement
  2. Encourage innovation within the team to identify and implement new approaches to B2B sales and customer engagement
  3. Stay updated with the latest technologies and practices, integrating new tools that improve team efficiency and customer experience
  4. Create a feedback loop with customers to continuously improve products and services based on client needs



Who are we looking for?


Education:


Bachelors degree in Agriculture, with a Masters in Agri-Business Management


Experience:

10 years of experience, including a minimum of 3 years in managing institutional business


Skills:

Strong relationship-building, communication, and influencing skills

Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and respond effectively to shifting priorities

Solid business acumen with the ability to make sound, goal-aligned decisions

Proficiency in project management

Strong analytical skills
