Key Responsibilities

Design & Implementation : Architect, build, and manage scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems on AWS .
Infrastructure as Code (IaC) : Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using tools like Terraform and CloudFormation to ensure consistent and reproducible deployments .
CI/CD Pipelines : Develop, maintain, and optimize continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines using tools such as Jenkins and GitLab CI/CD to streamline development workflows .
Monitoring & Performance : Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure system reliability using monitoring tools . Implement logging and monitoring solutions with tools like Prometheus, Grafana and CloudWatch
Security & Compliance : Implement and enforce security best practices using AWS services like IAM and KMS , and ensure infrastructure complies with security policies .
Collaboration & Leadership : Work closely with development teams to improve software delivery processes. Mentor junior engineers and often lead complex projects .
Cost Optimization : Manage and optimize AWS cloud expenditure through strategic resource management and automation, potentially saving companies hundreds of thousands of dollars annually .

Required Skills & Qualifications

Experience : 5+ years of experience in a DevOps or similar role, with hands-on experience designing and maintaining AWS infrastructure .
AWS Proficiency : Deep expertise in core AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM ) and experience with serverless, event-driven architectures .
Automation & Scripting : Strong skills in scripting languages, particularly Python/GO and Bash , for automating tasks and processes .
Containerization : Solid understanding of container technologies like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes .
Configuration Management : Experience with tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef .
Version Control : Proficiency with Git and collaborative platforms like GitHub
