Join the BSM Product Line within TIs Motor Drive group. We are a high-growth R&D hub focused on Precise Signal, Intelligent Control, and Power Transfer. Our team tackles the industrys toughest challenges: creating high-efficiency, high-voltage architectures with best-in-class power density and ruggedized protection for next-gen motion control.
The Challenge
As a Design Lead, you will bridge the gap between complex system specs and silicon reality. You will own the development of Isolation family products, integrating precise signal chains with high-power delivery and smart diagnostic protection.
Primary Responsibilities
- Architectural Ownership: Develop chip-level architectures from datasheet/system specs.
- Design & Verification: Lead full-block and top-level schematics, simulations, and design verification.
- Strategic Leadership: Manage design and layout activities, including technical mentoring and schedule tracking.
- Cross-Functional Synergy: Collaborate with ATE, Test, and Characterization teams to ensure seamless silicon bring-up and debug.
- Ruggedization: Ensure designs meet stringent ESD, Latch-up, and Emission specifications for harsh environments.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of Power Management or Analog IC Design.
- Education: Bachelors/Masters/Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering.
- Technical Edge:
- Deep expertise in analog building blocks and power management circuits.
- Proven ability to execute complex mixed-signal designs from Concept to PG.
- Strong background in Silicon Debug and Characterization.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional mentoring, communication, and team-leadership abilities.
